Rock wool insulation board is produced with high quality basalt as main raw material. Rock wool insulation board is a new type of heat insulation, fire proof and sound absorption material. Characteristics of rock wool insulation board
1. Low thermal conductivity. Thermal conductivity is an important indicator to measure the performance of rock wool insulation board. The smaller the thermal conductivity, the less energy is transferred through the material, and the better the thermal insulation performance of rock wool insulation board.
2.High sound absorption coefficient, the sound absorption effect of rock wool insulation board mainly depends on the density of the rock wool board. The greater the density, the better the sound absorption performance.
3. Good rock wool insulation board should have low moisture absorption rate. After absorbing water, the insulation performance of rock wool will be significantly reduced because water has a higher thermal conductivity. Therefore, it is recommended that customers choose waterproof rock wool board.
4. Good rock wool insulation board should have a high strength to support its own weight.
