In 1999, Zibo Double Egrets Insulation Materials Sales Company LTD was established. The company set its root in domestic industrial environment, developed sensitiveness to international markets, and researched into rock wool products in depth. At the primary stage of the company, it invested in production equipment of international standards and constructed a large-scale rock wool production base. Its factory area occupied 120,000 square meters. In the past twenty years, our company has devoted to researching in the solutions to energy conservation in the rock wool insulation area and contributing our efforts to energy conservation and the sustainable development of the society.

In 2003, the company registered its own brand “CCEWOOL” for its products. It also launched a systematic CI to highlight CCEWOOL brand effects.

At Copenhagen World Climate Conference of Denmark from December 7-18, 2009, the Chinese government made a solemn promise to the world that by 2020, the carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP will fall by 40%-45% compared with 2005. Since energy consumption of buildings accounts for more than 30% of the total energy consumption of human beings, it is imperative to develop new building materials that can conserve energy, reduce emission, and change the economy into a low-carbon type. The convening of the Copenhagen World Climate Conference further stimulated the demand for rock wool in the world. It has also been further recognized that CCEWOOL rock wool has the advantages in energy conservation, fire safety, and sustainability. CCEWOOL rock wool has been continuously learning foreign advanced production technologies, re-engineering and upgrading the rock production lines, introducing automatic production lines of rock wool boards, and producing high-quality rock wool to further reduce energy consumption and costs for users.

After the catastrophic fire which occurred on November 15, 2010 in Shanghai, the outstanding fireproof and insulation properties of rock wool were widely recognized and promoted in the society. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Security of China promulgated the document [2011] No. 65 on “Requirements for Civil Building Exterior Fire Protection and Insulation Materials”. This document of supervision and management regulates that the fire protection standard of buildings’ exterior insulation materials must reach Class A. CCEWOOL rock wool is a Class A non-combustible material with excellent fire resistance. It can withstand high temperatures above 1000 degrees Celsius. It can effectively prevent the spread of fires and avoid a small fire in one area to spread to the whole building. Moreover, CCEWOOL rock wool does not release any toxic gases in fire reaction because it is an inorganic material. These excellent fireproof and insulation properties of CCEWOOL rock wool have been affirmed and expanded rapidly in domestic and foreign markets.

In 2012, the company participated in several international exhibitions held in Germany, Poland, the United States, and Italy. In the same year, the company attended CERAMITEC in Munich, Germany, and soon after that, CCEWOOL rock wool products became more popular. CCEWOOL has entered markets of many countries and regions, such as Germany, France, Finland, Sweden, Canada, Portugal, and Peru.

In 2013, more than 300 large-scale kiln construction manufacturers and builders used the “CCEWOOL” series of products, which enabled CCEWOOL to become a strong brand with a high reputation in the international markets. It acquired the Ce certificate, and the certificate number is: 0P160526.ZDEUN33

In 2016, the company decided to establish a North American R&D center because this region is the world's largest and most powerful economy. It formed a technical solution team and established a branch in Canada. Facing the social issues brought by the rapid development of human civilization at the cost of the natural environment, CCEWOOL determined to conduct in-depth research on the development of rock wool products and their application.

2019 marks the 20th year of Zibo Double Egrets Thermal Insulation Materials Sales Co., Ltd in the production and sales of rock wool.
