In 2016, the head company decided to establish an R&D center in North America, organize a technical team, and meanwhile, set up a Canadian branch. North America, as the largest and most powerful economy in the world, possesses the advanced technologies that can support our R&D. Situated here, we aim at researching to meet the needs from other countries, and developing and utilizing the various characteristics of rocks in order to conquer the challenges facing people in industrial and construction fields.
In consideration of the current social problems brought by the unprecedented development of civilization and the deterioration of natural environment, CCEWOOL employs modern R&D equipment and well-established R&D systems to conduct in-depth research in the application of rock wool products. In view of a variety of needs for the use of rock wool products from different lines of industry, CCEWOOL is able to provide customers with tailored plans and new products to solve insulation and energy saving problems with rock wool. Industries consume a great deal of energy, which takes up around one quarter of the whole world’s energy consumption and 40% of CO2 emission. Meanwhile, energy consumption is an influential factor to industrial costs.

CCEWOOL rock wool has an outstanding performance in the energy saving of industrial furnaces. It is estimated that the use of every m3 of rock wool as insulation materials in industrial thermal facilities can save up to 2500 kcal/hour of energy, equivalent to three tons of standard coal ever year. Also, at least one ton of petroleum can be saved by using one ton of rock wool insulation in buildings.

Buildings are the largest source of global greenhouse gas emission. The construction industry accounts for 30% of the world greenhouse gas emission and consumes 40% of global energy. To save energy in this industry, the insulation performance, heating, and air conditioning efficiency need to be improved; the operation management of buildings’ energy systems need to be strengthened; recyclable resources need to be utilized; under the premise of ensuring the indoor thermal environment, the thermal resistance of indoor and outdoor energy exchange need to be increased so as to reduce energy consumption in heating, air-conditioning, lighting, and water supply systems.

House residents can save 70% heating or air conditioning energy by adopting high-efficiency energy saving technologies and insulating the house appropriately. CCEWOOL rock wool insulation material is a grade A non-combustible material, which has excellent fire resistance and can withstand temperatures over 1000 degree Celsius.
