Construction method of thermal insulation rock wool board
10. Laying alkali-resistant mesh cloth
10.1 After applying the first layer of bottom plastering mortar, lay the alkali-resistant mesh cloth immediately when the mortar is not dry. and the curved surface of the alkali-resistant mesh should face the wall during laying.
10.2 The length of a single mesh cloth should not be greater than 6m;
10.3 When laying alkali-resistant mesh cloth, use a trowel to smooth from the center to the surroundings until the alkali-resistant mesh is completely embedded in the plastering mortar;
10.4 When the standard mesh cloth needs to be overlapped, the overlap length must be no less than 65mm; the reinforced mesh cloth only needs to be butted, and its butting edge should be tight.
10.5 At the corners, the mesh cloth should be continuous, and the width of mesh cloth covering the corners of wall should be no less than 200mm. There must be plastering mortar in the middle of the overlapping part of the standard mesh cloth, and dry lap joints are strictly prohibited.
10.6 At the junction of thermal insulation wall and non thermal insulation wall (splitting wall, etc.), the mesh cloth should be wrapped no less than 200mm.
10.7 Considering the properties of rock wool board, the exterior wall insulation and alkali-resistant mesh cloth requires double-layer laying. After the first layer of bottom plastering is dried, apply the second layer of bottom plaster which is 1-2mm thick. Then immediately lay the second alkali-resistant mesh cloth before the second layer of bottom plaster is dried. And the curved surface of the alkali-resistant mesh cloth should face the wall.
