Construction of stonewool board insulation
6.5 Use a hand hammer to drive the expansion tube of the anchor into the pre-drilled hole to ensure that the top disc is flush with the rock wool board for insulation;
6.6 Drive the steel nail into the expansion tube with a hand hammer, and the anchor’s disc sinks 1mm into the surface of the rock wool board.
6.7 In order to achieve a better waterproof and thermal insulation effect for the system, apply surface mortar on the installed anchors. The anchors should be fully covered by mortar. After the mortar is completely dried, a large-area plastering mortar should be applied.
6.8 Number of anchors: no less than 7 pieces/m2 for building height below 20m, no less than 9 pieces/m2 for buildings above 20m.
