Insulation stone wool board is made of basalt through multiple processing.

     The commonly used material for external wall insulation is grade A non-combustible insulation stone wool board. Insulation stone wool board has advantages of high compressive and tensile strength, low water absorption and moisture absorption, good dimensional stability, no thermal expansion or contraction,good anti-aging performance, etc. It is compatible with the external wall system, and provides effective thermal insulation, energy saving, fire protection and good protection for buildings. Now the quality of insulation stone wool board on the market is very different, so how to judge the quality of stone wool boards?
     Check the appearance
     1. Check the slag content of the insulation stone wool board with naked eye. You can not  see a lot of slag on good quality insulation stone wool board. 
     2. The appearance of good insulation stone wool board is smooth and free of stains and damage;
     3. The distribution of glue amount is very uniform, and there should be no glue block in good quality insulation stone wool board;
     4. Observe whether the color of stone wool is consistent. If there is a difference between white and yellow, it is an inferior product;
     5. Use a knife to cut a piece from it to see the texture inside. The Z-shaped texture inside indicates that the fiber has been folded and the board has high tensile strength;
     6. Pour a glass of water on the surface of insulation stone wool board and observe the water absorption. If it does not absorb water, the stone wool is of good quality.
