Precautions for construction of thermal insulation rockwool board
1.The facilities and pipes that need thermal insulation of thermal insulation rockwool board should have no leakage, and the surface should be dry, no grease, and no rust. And suitable coatings can be adopted to prevent corrosion.
2. In order to achieve the minimum heat loss, all the joints of the thermal insulation rockwool board and the felt must be very tightly connected. The cross joints should be staggered during multi-layer insulation to avoid the formation of thermal bridges. Cold bridges must be prevented during cold insulation.
3. When thermal insulation rockwool product are used for outdoor heat preservation or areas that are subject to mechanical abrasion, they should be covered with metal or plastic sheet. The sealing of joints and seams should be paid special attention. If necessary, add glue seals. The overlap of the wrapping layer should not be less than 100mm.
Next issue we will continue to introduce precautions for construction of
thermal insulation rockwool board.
