In this issue, we continue to introduce the construction method of insulation mineral wool board.
13. The surface coating construction should meet the following requirements:
① After the insulation mineral wool board is pasted, the plastered surface of the board should be treated. The entire surface should be coated with surface mortar. (thickness 1 ~ 1.5mm). (thickness 1~1.5mm). The surface mortar should be pressed into the surface fiber of the insulation mineral wool board.
② The surface mortar should be configured in strict accordance with the product manual. The configured adhesive should avoid direct sunlight and should be used up within 2 hours.
③ The surface mortar is divided into two layers. The thickness of the first layer of mortar is 2~3mm, it should be plastered with a stainless steel serrated spatula, then smoothed with a large spatula, and glass fiber mesh cloth should be pressed into the mortar while mortar is wet. When the mortar is slightly dry and hard enough to touch, install the anchor and seal the plastic disk of the anchor and its surroundings with the mortar. When the first layer of mortar is a little dry and the second layer of mortar can be applied. The thickness of second layer of mortar is about 2mm. Smooth the surface and make the thickness of the surface layer meet the design requirements.
④ The laying of the mesh cloth should be smoothed and straightened, and the squareness and verticality of the internal and external corners should be maintained. There should be overlap between the upper and lower and left and right sides of the mesh cloth, and the overlap width should not be less than 100mm; Glass fiber mesh should not be laid directly on the surface of the rock wool board, nor exposed, and shall not be overlapped directly.
⑤ The installation of
insulation mineral wool board anchors should be in accordance with the design requirements. Use impact drills or electric hammers to drill. The drilling depth should be greater than the anchoring depth by 10mm. And the anchoring nails should be knocked or screwed into the wall. The disk of anchors should adhere closely to the first layer of mesh cloth. The disc and its surroundings should be sealed with surface mortar in time.
