The main raw material of external insulation stone wool board is natural basalt. The basalt is made into man made inorganic fiber by high speed centrifugal and special high-strength adhesive and dust-proof oil are added at the process, and finally heat and cure.

     Characteristics of external insulation stone wool board: High compressive and tensile strength, low water and moisture absorption, no thermal expansion and contraction, aging resistance, very good stability, good fire protection performance and thermal insulation performance.
     Application of external insulation stone wool board: It can be mainly used in sound insulation and thermal insulation of building walls and roofs, fire protection and noise reduction of fire walls, fire doors and elevator shafts.
     Since the external insulation stone wool board are made from natural basalt, its production cost is much higher than that of ordinary mineral wool stone wool boards. 90% of the common  stone wool board on the market are mineral wool board or stone wool board with basalt content 30%, 60%, 80%. The price of stone wool board with basalt content 100% is the highest.
