Recently, CCEWOOL® successfully shipped one 40HC container of CCEWOOL® rockwool sound panels to a long-term customer in Peru, marking the ninth year of cooperation between the two parties.

The customer has long been involved in industrial buildings and public infrastructure projects in Peru, with consistent requirements for acoustic performance, fire safety, and long-term stability in building envelope systems. Over the years, CCEWOOL® rockwool sound panels have become a standard material in the customer’s project portfolio, demonstrating reliable performance and consistent application results in real projects.

Integrated Acoustic and Fire Protection Solution

In industrial plants, equipment rooms, and public buildings, noise control must often be achieved without compromising fire safety.

CCEWOOL® rockwool sound panels are manufactured from high-quality basalt and produced through stable fiberizing and forming processes, creating a multidirectional fiber structure that effectively absorbs mid- and high-frequency noise, reduces reverberation, and improves the overall acoustic environment.

At the same time, the panels achieve A1 non-combustible classification, meeting common fire safety requirements for industrial and public buildings. By integrating sound absorption and fire protection into a single system, customers can reduce material layering, simplify structural design, and improve overall safety and installation efficiency.

Multiple Density Options for Different Installation Areas

For this shipment, the customer selected 60 kg/m³ and 100 kg/m³ densities to meet the functional requirements of different installation zones within the same project.

Lower-density panels are primarily used in standard acoustic treatment areas, while higher-density panels are applied in locations requiring greater structural stability and durability.

The standardized 1200 × 600 × 50 mm panel size supports efficient installation, reduces on-site cutting and secondary adjustments, and improves consistency and controllability in large-scale construction.

Long-Term Stability for Local Environmental Conditions

Some projects in Peru face challenges such as significant day–night temperature variation and complex site conditions. In long-term use, CCEWOOL® rockwool sound panels have demonstrated excellent dimensional stability and environmental adaptability, helping reduce maintenance frequency and providing greater certainty for long-term project planning.

All panels in this shipment were protected with heat-shrink film packaging, ensuring moisture resistance and damage protection during transportation and on-site storage, and maintaining stable product condition prior to installation.
